New Student Orientation First Flight Checklist

Issue, brief and have student sign Moore Aviation, Inc. Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)
Introduce dispatch Procedures
- Explain dispatch flight plan form
- Explain aircraft binder
- Explain binder coversheet
Familiarize student with Flight Schedule Pro (i.e., Online scheduling procedures, student account balances, etc.)
- Explain Attendance Policy
- Students must notify dispatch if they are unable to put money in account
  - Flights will have to be cancelled
  - Students must provide a date as to when funds will be available for deposit
Provide student with appropriate handouts
- Aircraft checklist
- Radio communications sheet
- Weather briefing sheet
- Weight and balance sheet
Confirm student has appropriate medical certificate and pilot/ student pilot certificates
Enroll in appropriate Part 141 pilot training course, if applicable
Provide student the option to purchase required flight training equipment (i.e., Logbook, E6B flight computer, chart plotter, headset, etc.)
